The Golden View High School Varsity Basketball Teams will take on Thomas MacLaren tonight at GVCA. We will be honoring our seniors and would love your support! The girls play at 5:30pm and the boys play at 7:00pm. Come and cheer them on!
The House of Cicero hosted the second Sentinel Games last Friday! Students scoured the school to find the clues, decipher the codes, and figure out who dunnit in our first running of live-action Clue. All honor to the victorious House of Brutus!

The High School Basketball team will travel to Two Roads tonight, January 20! Games begin at 4:30pm.
Congratulations to the High School Wrestling team! Four Golden View wrestlers finished in the top 5 of their respective weight classes at the Arvada Bulldog Invitational. The team was led by sophomore Bobby Kiesewetter, who placed 2nd in his weight class.
School is cancelled tomorrow, January 18 due to inclement weather. All official before and after-school activities are also cancelled.
Last weekend two Golden View wrestlers finished first in their respective weight classes at the Wheat Ridge High School tournament.
The wrestling team competes at Sheridan High School on Saturday, December 17 at the Forrest Davis Invitational.
Congratulations to the boys basketball team for defeating Denver Christian in overtime 50-42 last night. It was a true team effort!
The girls play against Jefferson at 4pm tonight at Denver Christian. The boys will play Belleview Christian at 8:30pm. The final day of the tournament is Saturday.

School is cancelled today, November 18. All official before and after school activities are also cancelled. We typically follow Jeffco Public Schools for school closures. However, with the snow totals around the school and in areas where families are driving from, and because the roads continue to be dangerous, we will cancel school. Enjoy your Thanksgiving Break!

The first snow was falling in Golden today so it's time to start to think about the Sentinel Flurry! The Sentinel Flurry and Winterfest will be held on Saturday, December 3. Register early to guarantee your Winterfest shirt. Cards with registration information will be available during carline this afternoon, Thursday, October 27.
Senior Night is tonight, Friday, October 21. Come out to cheer on our Senior Sentinels as they take on Nederland at the final home game of the season!
Junior Varsity will play at 4:30pm and the Varsity game will follow at 5:30pm.
Congratulations to athletes who qualified for the Colorado State Championships: Emma Hehn, Bobby Kieswetter, Nate Kopp, Yosef Heldt, Ezra Knoell, Torin Fischer, and Anthony Acocella. They will represent Golden View on Saturday, October 29 at Norris Penrose Stadium in Colorado Springs.

At the Foothills League Championships this week, senior Emma Hehn earned the Runner of the Year honor as she led the girls team to a second place finish. The boys team finished first place. Seven athletes earned All-League honors, and five athletes earned Honorable Mention. Way to go, Sentinels!
Congratulations to junior Cooper Urbas! He placed 40th at the 2A Colorado State Golf Championships in the first year that Golden View offered the sport.
