Fourth Grade Teacher
Mrs. Six received a liberal arts degree from Thomas Aquinas College, where she delighted in the Socratic discussions of great books and the community of students and tutors seeking truth. After graduation, she taught at a small classical school, Trivium School, which was started by her parents and still flourishes today. Through the years of homeschooling her nine children, she used classical books and methods. She also taught classes to homeschooled students of every level and in many subjects, especially Latin and math.
After receiving a Master’s degree in theology, Mrs. Six taught college classes both in the classroom and online. Realizing that what she really loved was teaching younger students in person, she was excited to find an opportunity to teach at a classical school. She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and love of goodness, truth, and beauty with the 4th Grade students at Golden View Classical Academy.
Mrs. Six recently moved to Colorado from Pennsylvania with her husband and youngest daughter. She enjoys singing in a choir which specializes in Gregorian chant and Renaissance polyphony.
