Mrs. Eddy teaches grammar school music and directs the Sentinel Singers here at Golden View. She studied at DePauw University (Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance), the University of Northern Colorado (Master of Music, Education), the Bel Canto Italia School in Florence, Italy (opera performance), the Austro-American Institute in Vienna, Austria (vocal music & art history), and completed initial graduate studies at New England Conservatory (opera theater).
Mrs. Eddy loves teaching and making music, and directing productions for students of all ages. Favorite directing credits include Into the Woods, Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, and Shrek the Musical, to name a few. Regional performance credits include Gianni Schicchi (Lauretta), The Devil and Daniel Webster (Mary), The Telephone (Lucy), A Little Night Music (Anne). Her choirs have performed at contests, festivals, and Rockies games, and have been selected to perform at Carnegie Hall. Her private voice students are All-State Choir members, National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) State and Regional winners, and college scholarship recipients to the Berklee College of Music, St. Olaf, University of Denver, and CU Boulder.
She is both grateful and honored to be part of the Golden View community among passionate and exceptional staff, as a parent of two GVCA students who are thriving here, and among wonderful students and families!
