Born in Rochester, NY, Mr. Friederich is a second career special education teacher in his tenth year of working with students who have identified disabilities. His goal for all special education students is that they develop the skills needed to become academically independent. Before becoming a special education teacher, Mr. Friederich spent nearly 25 years working on the frontlines of the global high technology industry including stints at Logitech and Microsoft where he managed the development of business relationships and technologies for companies small and large. Mr. Friederich holds a BS in Psychology and an MBA from Regis University. He is currently developing his expertise teaching arithmetic and writing. Away from school, Mr. Friederich and his wife Heather travel often with recent trips to see family in New York, Texas, and the UK as well a road trip to all of the major Western US National Parks. He and Heather share four children, all of whom have left the nest with (so far) no signs of needing to return.
