We are happy to be offering a couple of summer school classes for High School students and several boot camps for Grammar School and Upper School students this August! Click here to view the informational flyer, which includes a schedule and course descriptions.
New students are strongly encouraged to take a “How To Be a Classical Student” course with Ms. Abols. Coming to Golden View Classical can be jarring if students don’t have academic habits like organization, note-taking, and attention firmly in place, and this class can help with those. New Grammar School students are also encouraged to take a math and a Riggs class, so they can get used to the notation system and way of thinking involved in each. Finally, all students are encouraged to take the Latin class that is most appropriate.
We will have our summer reading lists out shortly, so parents can get the books with time to spare as summer begins.
Golden View Classical Academy offers school tours to prospective families.
We look forward to meeting you!
To minimize disruptions during classroom visits, tours are limited to groups of 10, not including small children accompanying parents.
Families interested in enrolling students for the 2017-18 school year are encouraged to sign up for a tour.
We are accepting applications for the 2017-18 school year!

These are the final tour dates for the 2016-2017 school year. School tours will resume in the fall of 2017.
If a tour you would like to attend is full, continue to visit this page, as some tour spots may become available again due to cancellations.
We are happy to announce that our Formal Wednesday performances will begin next Wednesday, October 12th! Each Wednesday morning going forward, one Grammar School class or grade will perform a song, poem, or recitation in front of their peers to start the day. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to improve their confidence and display their hard work.
We invite parents of the students performing that day to attend. All parents must check in at the front office before entering the gym. Due to space constraints, we cannot allow parents whose students are not performing that day to attend.
We hosted the first lecture in our teacher series this month! Our Principal, Dr. Garrow, spoke about how to raise citizens who love the Constitution.
Welcome to the first installment of this year’s Teacher Lecture Series. It is my hope that these will become recurring events in the life of our academic community, providing an opportunity for parents to engage in some of the same kind of learning that students experience at Golden View Classical Academy. These events also draw attention to our overall purpose, which is to teach students to live decent, orderly, responsible, and curious lives, to use their leisure time well, and to draw lessons from what they learn in class to how they should treat their friends, families, and fellow citizens.
