Colorado Native, Mrs. Eddy grew up North of Golden in Loveland, CO. She enjoys spending time with her husband and playing with her children, hiking, biking, photography, decorating and remodeling her home, reading, having dinner and coffee with friends, and exploring the mountains.
She has three favorite books: Mentor Leader by Tony Dungee, Anne of Green Gables, and Polyanna. Currently, she is reading A Loving Life by Paul E. Miller, The Best Yes by Lysa Terkeurst, and A Year with C.S. Lewis.
Mrs. Eddy learned about Golden View Classical Academy while driving home from Golden. “My daughter, Grace, is a Westernaire, and we kept driving by the school banner on I-70 on our way home from riding practice. We finally did some research and then started talking to friends about the amazing passion of those who worked to obtain the charter and the benefits of Classical education and decided to jump in with all eight feet…our daughters’, my husband’s, and mine!”
Mrs. Eddy is the music teacher here at Golden View Classical Academy. “I am excited about sharing my passion for all genres of music, especially Classical, with young children who have an amazing way of absorbing and applying new skills with tremendous creativity and joy!”
She is most excited to experience and contribute to Golden View Classical Academy alongside her girls, who are enrolled. “We will be commuting from Littleton and will love driving on 470 by the foothills. We plan to sing, dance, giggle, vent, practice Spanish, and catch up on/prepare for the day together. Looking forward to this concentrated time with my girls!”
Mrs. Eddy and her husband are optimistic about the future of Golden View Classical Academy. “We are most excited about the opportunity for our girls to grow up in a rigorous and supportive school community that believes kids are capable of learning and doing great things and that holds them to high expectations. We believe that Golden View Classical will help them become all they were created to be and that we will be able to do our best to help the students and families at Golden View Classical be their best as well.”
