Grammar School Art
Mrs. Constransitch earned her Masters of Fine Art in Sculpture from the University of Georgia, Athens. She completed her Bachelor’s in Studio Art from Nicholls State University, Thibodaux, Louisiana, where she also minored in Art History. She is a native of southeast Louisiana.
Mrs. Constransitch has taught art for many years. She taught as an Assistant Professor at Metropolitan State University for six years and an Adjunct Professor at the College of Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina, for five years. She also taught art at Spirit Square Visual and Performing Art Institute K-12 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Mrs. Constransith is a practicing artist and has exhibited her sculpture nationally and internationally. She has earned numerous awards, including the Colorado Visions Award from the Colorado Council on the Arts, and the South Carolina Visual Artist Fellowship from the South Carolina Arts Commission.
She and her husband have four children. They are grateful that the youngest has the opportunity to attend Golden View Classical Academy. They wholeheartedly support the philosophy and mission of the school.
Mrs. Constransitch enjoys hiking, film, reading, viewing and creating art, and spending time with family and friends. After taking some time away from teaching to stay home with her children, Mrs. Constransitch looks forward to sharing her passion for art with the Golden View Classical Academy students.
Grammar School Music
Mrs. Eddy teaches grammar school music and directs the Sentinel Singers here at Golden View. She studied at DePauw University (Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance), the University of Northern Colorado (Master of Music, Education), the Bel Canto Italia School in Florence, Italy (opera performance), the Austro-American Institute in Vienna, Austria (vocal music & art history), and completed initial graduate studies at New England Conservatory (opera theater). Mrs. Eddy loves teaching and making music, and directing productions for students of all ages. Favorite directing credits include Into the Woods, Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, and Shrek the Musical, to name a few. Regional performance credits include Gianni Schicchi (Lauretta), The Devil and Daniel Webster (Mary), The Telephone (Lucy), A Little Night Music (Anne). Her choirs have performed at contests, festivals, and Rockies games, and have been selected to perform at Carnegie Hall. Her private voice students are All-State Choir members, National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) State and Regional winners, and college scholarship recipients to the Berklee College of Music, St. Olaf, University of Denver, and CU Boulder. She is both grateful and honored to be part of the Golden View community among passionate and exceptional staff, as a parent of 2 GVCA students who are thriving here, and among wonderful students and families!
