Board Grievance Policy
Policy SE 33.0 specifies the grievance process at Golden View Classical Academy.
After an issue has been addressed through the grievance process established by the Board of Directors, one may escalate their complaint to the Board.
The Board may hear complaints regarding policy or process.
After a grievance is filed, it will be reviewed and followed up within 5 business days.
The Board will review the summary and will make one of the following determinations:
- The Board may decide to support the previous decision;
- The Board may appoint up to two Board members to address the issue;
- The Board may address the issue in an open Board format;
- The Board may address the issue in an executive session, in accordance with the Colorado Open Meetings Law.
